It is pricey, but how cool! I wish I was wealthy, I would so do it for my daughter's b-day. I hear ya on the over the top b-day parties. Recently my dd went to a party where the girls took a limo to the mall to pick out some new earrings at Claire's. Sheesh. Whatever happened to cake and ice cream at home? <font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">The all-time over-the-top birthday party that either of my kids ever went to was one to which my daughter was invited when she was about nine. I forget which movie it was, but that year some HUGE kids's movie was eagerly anticipated. The birthday girl had a private, preview screening of it a week before it came out and before even reviewers had seen it! Ten little girls got together in a movie theater rented especially for the event, were served popcorn, etc. by clowns hired for the occasion, and watched the movie. My daughter absolutely loved it.
